Dewalt DCG405N 18v XR 125mm Brushless Angle Grinder Body
The highly efficient brushless motor fitted to the Dewalt DCG405 extends the runtime from a given battery charge when compared to a standard motor. In addition, a brushless motor is virtually maintenance free. For increased protection and long service life, mesh covers restrict dust passing through the motor. The DCG405 has a no load speed of 9,000rpm and takes a 125mm diameter disc.
A compact gear case increases access to tight spaces and gives an excellent depth of cut. An electronic brake stops the disc within 2 seconds of the release of the trigger. A further safety feature is the electronic clutch, which reduces kickback in the event of the disc jamming. A built in no-volt release gives protection against accidental start-ups after installing a new battery.
The slim ergonomic body has a rubber over-mould providing a comfortable and secure grip. There is a choice of 2 positions for the auxiliary handle ensuring full control and the guard features easy keyless adjustment.
